Uttar Pradesh 2017 Election Dates Phase wise 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ,6 ,7 :

The time has come for the Uttar Pradesh legislative elections for the year 2017. The polling will take place in the months of February and March for the states of Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Manipur. All the 403 seats of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly and one seat for an Anglo-Indian candidate has been reserved already, out of which 202 seats are to be needed for a majority.

In the last assembly elections, Akhilesh Yadav from Samajwadi Party won a majority of 224 seats and formed the Government. This time along with Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samajwadi Party, Bharatiya Janata Party, Indian National Congress and RashtriyaLok Dal will be taking part in the elections. However, the candidature regarding the AamAadmi Party in the UP elections is not yet confirmed. Uttar Pradesh being the largest state in India (as per the population) have the biggest number of seats in the Lok Sabha.

Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections 2017 Dates Candidates List are being released by the Election Commission on Wednesday 4th, January 2017. Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections 2017 Dates Polling Schedule will be followed in seven phases. Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections 2017 Notifications will be released for all the respective constituencies according to their respective phases. From February 11th polling procedure will start and will end by March till the counting and final calculations of the votes.
